MINI triumphs at News UK Motor Awards 2021.

MINI has triumphed at the News UK Motor Awards 2021, winning Best British-Built Car for the MINI Electric and Dog Friendly Car of the Year for the MINI Clubman. Will Dron, Editor of Sunday Times driving.co.uk said: “"Dog owners have very specific requirements when it comes to their cars, which is why MINI’s partnership with Dogs Trust and goal of becoming the first officially dog-friendly car retailer by 2022 will be music to their ears. The work MINI is doing with canine behaviour experts will no doubt pay dividends but already there's a lot going for the MINI Clubman when it comes to man's best friend: a low boot sill, the split rear doors, and a new dog pack, including a dog guard and rear compartment mat, help make travel much more comfortable for canine companions."

The MINI Electric has all the hallmark features of the brand and the added benefits of EV technology, with acceleration of 0-62 in 7.3 seconds and a range of up to 145 miles (WLTP) on a single charge. It’s available in three different trim levels, as well as the new Electric Collection model, priced from £26,000 OTR (including £2,500 government grant)
